Pirates legend slams players for ‘pulling down’ shorts

Former Orlando Pirates winger Tebogo Moloi has slammed players for constantly pulling their shorts down during football matches.
Moloi says South African players must focus on dishing out football. In a tweet, the former Chippa United coach wrote: “To all PSL players please can you just play and stop every second pulling your shorts down, footballers have one of the most ‘DEFINED’ thighs and legs especially today with Sports Science and good nutrition, just dish us football and leave your shorts please,” read the tweet.

The retired star played most of his football for the Buccaneers when he was signed in 1987 and turned himself into a household name in South African football.
The 54-year old coach began his coaching career with the Sea Robbers from 2011 and served as an assistant coach for various coaches until 2017.
He then joined the Gqeberha-based side as a caretaker coach and was named coach of the month for the Chilli Boys at some point.
The son of Pirates legend Percy ‘Chippa’ Moloi was taken through a memory lane when he recalled how much he was earning at the Soweto giants.
“I was earning R437 per month and I was fine with it, they were celebrating the 50th anniversary that year but there was no way they could celebrate because of financial challenges,” the Soweto-born legend told FARPost in a previous interview.
He embodied high level discipline and professionalism during his playing days.
Despite being talented and skillfull as he was, he only has three Bafana Bafana caps under his belt.
The soft-spoken mentor expressed the love he has for Pirates and how the club gave him so much in life.
