Peprah On European Rumours – iDiski Times

Orlando Pirates striker Kwame Peprah has responded to rumours linking him with a move to Europe.

Peprah, 21, joined the Buccaneers in 2021 from King Faisal and netted nine goals in all competitions in 2021/22, earning a nomination for the DStv Premiership Young Player of the Season.

His fine performances haven’t gone unnoticed and clubs in Egypt, Austria, Belgium, Greece and Sweden are said to be after his signature.

Peprah, though, insisted he is happy at Orlando Stadium, even though he would back himself in any new environment.

“First of all I have to say that I am an Orlando Pirates player and as a professional player it’s not my place to talk about transfer business. I leave that stuff to my management,” he told iDiski Times in an exclusive interview.

“But whatever happens, I always believe in my abilities and I back myself to succeed in any environment.

“Coming here to such a big club as Pirates was a challenge but one that I felt ready and confident for, so whatever the future holds, I will be ready.”
