About Peninsula Beverages

Established in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town in 1940, Peninsula Beverages is the official manufacturer and distributor of various Coca-Cola products in the Northern and Western Cape regions. The company opened its second plant in Mowbray in 1948 but later moved to Parow Industria which is now its current headquarters. Peninsula Beverages now employs more than 1,300 employees and has since built another plant in Althone Industria and a number of distribution depots in Vredendal, Blackheath, Paarl and Worcester.

Peninsula Beverages Sales Trainee Programme 2022

As part of the Sales Trainee Programme, the successful candidate will be based in the Company’s Worcester location, performing duties and responsibilities that will include:

• Carry out various relevant sales functions (i.e. repping)
• Providing assistance in market development including prospecting
• Company asset management
• Facilitating promotional events and executions
• Take charge of SHEQ responsibilities

Who should apply?

The ideal candidate will need to meet these minimum eligibility requirements to qualify for consideration:

• Preferably holds a three-year National Diploma in Marketing or Sales, and Business
• With two years of relevant work experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry
• Background in promotional work is a definite advantage (only for Touch Channel)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Holds a valid driver’s license
