The Patriotic Alliance (PA) is switching sides in coalition councils across the country – sparking fears of a change of government once again.
The PA was announced as the newest coalition partner in the Gauteng metros after it dumped the ANC. And while the party’s leader announces more changes – analysts say the moves may affect their support base.
It says it is unhappy with the job allocations in Nelson Mandela Bay – and changes are necessary.
The party is threatening more changes if its members are not prioritized for jobs.
Along with changing coalition partners – the PA is expected to remove its councillors which it says have failed to deliver in coalitions.
