Parkwood seeking forgiveness after the murder of Abongile Mafalala who was falsely accused

Thirty-one-year-old Abongile Mafalala from Du Noon was brutally murdered by Parkwood residents on Tuesday morning, in a disastrous attack that unfolded in the wake of false kidnapping rumours.

The Parkwood community in Western Cape Province  says they need to seek forgiveness for the crime they have committed. Last week, members of the community falsely accused 31-year-old Uber driver of being a kidnapper.

He was beaten, stoned and then burnt. Addressing the community at a prayer gathering in the area, Founder of the Parkwood Community Upliftment, Max Swartz Amansure led the community in bowing in prayer.
