Gauteng government authorities visited the family of four-year-old Bokgabo Poo, after the suspect in her abduction and murder appeared in court earlier.
The case against the man has been postponed to 24 October.
The girl’s father tried to attack the suspect in the dock.
Police were quick to act in keeping them separated.
