Television personality Pamela Mtanga is stepping into one of the biggest moments of her career as she prepares to co-host this year’s Miss South Africa finale alongside actress and media star Nomalanga Shozi.

The glamorous event will take place on Saturday at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria.

For Pamela, the moment is deeply personal, one she’s envisioned for years.

“I have been manifesting, dreaming and praying about this particular moment for years now,” she said. “Miss SA has been on my vision board and bucket list for events to host.”

Known for her poise and charm, Pamela has had a standout year, recently commanding the stage at the DStv Delicious Festival, where she shared hosting duties with international heavyweights Lauryn Hill and Don Toliver.

She’s also the face of Brutal Fruit’s celebrated The Pink Table series, where she continues to shine as a voice for modern South African women.

Reflecting on her new role, she added, “This one is an answered prayer, and I’m really honoured to be representing the future of media personalities on that stage. Working alongside Nomalanga is going to be a fun one, and definitely a fashion moment because she loves a good look, and I’m here for it. Her energy is electric.”

The pair are expected to bring both elegance and excitement to the Miss SA stage, something Pamela says will be centered on making the contestants the true stars of the night.

“We want the ladies to shine even brighter so that everyone can see their strength, confidence and talent,” she said.

Nomalanga, who stars as Amandla in BET’s Black Gold, is equally on a high in her career. She’s recently fronted the Joburg Film Festival, joined L’Oréal’s La Maison collective, and earned the title of Glamour’s Most Stylish Entertainer
