Media personality Pabi Moloi has assured her supporters that she is well and alive after a post of her being dead went viral on social media.

The former Trending SA presenter took to her Instagram page to debunk the death rumours. Captioning her post, she said: “The rumours of my death are greatly exaggerated. 20 October 2025.”

“I thought everything weird that could happen to me has already happened to me. I thought being body shamed, being on the best dressed list and the worst dressed in the same year. I mean that is weird. A lot of weird sh*t has happened to me but this might be the weirdest. Guys, I’m alive. I’m very much alive. I literally saw someone say RIP. Well, I’m going to have a ripping rest of my life and I’m still here,” she said.

Instagram users filled the comment section and weighed in.

One user said: “This is getting out of hand now! When are people going to quit this nonsense? So sorry Pabi. Great to see you.”

Another one said: “I was so shocked when I read that somewhere on the socials. Glad you’re alive, sorry dali.”

While another one added: “Surely it means only upwards from here!? Continue to live loudly!”

X (formerly Twitter) users also weighed in:

Guyz please stop bullying Pabi Moloi, why her weight and health your concern? because she has said several times that she is ok. If she commits suicide you will all be sending fake evil RIP. Please stop this nonsense! https://t.co/f45Z1RfwgY
