Oscar Mbo reacts to Grammy consideration bagged

South African DJ and producer Oscar Mbo is beaming with pride after his single Vuka featuring JazzWrld and Thukuthela received Grammy Awards consideration in the Best African Music Performance category.

The acclaimed house music star shared the exciting news on social media, expressing gratitude to the Recording Academy for recognizing his work and to everyone who has supported his journey.

“Thank you for this consideration @recordingacademy,” he wrote.

“Straight from a hectic 2024 to begin the year with an anthem, starting in the southern part of Africa and heading up. 🙏🏾 Salute for the great work gents @_jazzworx @thukuthela_szn 🏆. Thank you to everyone who keeps on streaming the music, attending shows, and getting merch, you’re appreciated!”
