The Corona Sunsets Festival returns to Johannesburg this September, celebrating 100 years with music, art, and unforgettable sunset experiences.

STANDOUT LINE-UP AND HEADLINERS

The Corona Sunsets Festival Johannesburg will take place on Saturday, 13 September 2025, at Casalinga, Muldersdrift. Headlining the festival are South African powerhouses Major League DJz and DBN Gogo alongside 340 ML.

International Afro-House sensation AMÉMÉ joins the line-up, having collaborated with DJ Jamie Jones and Black Coffee previously. Jeremy Loops returns to South Africa following his acclaimed 2025 Glastonbury performance, bringing his globally recognized sound.

Crazy White Boy, Cape Town’s electronic duo, will perform with Johannesburg-born vocalist Nonku Phiri for a soulful collaboration.

EXTENSIVE ARTISTS LINE-UP

The festival showcases over twenty performers across two stages, blending local favourites with globally resonant artists this year. Zakes Bantwini, DJ Kent, Culoe De Song, and Oscar Mbo are among the standout South African performers.

The enchanting Ndlovu Youth Choir will mesmerize audiences with their vocal harmonies and dynamic stage presence this September. FKA Mash brings his globally celebrated remixes, having performed in Ibiza and released music on Anjunadeep and Keinemusik labels.

This curated line-up ensures festival-goers experience immersive music spanning multiple genres, celebrating Johannesburg’s diverse creative landscape.

MORE THAN MUSIC EXPERIENCE

Corona Sunsets Festival is rooted in the brand’s global “More Than Music” ethos, combining art, food, and immersive activities. Eco-conscious cuisine uses locally sourced ingredients, creating a culinary experience that complements the festival’s sunset ritual moments.

Interactive art installations showcase South African creatives, inviting festival attendees to explore, interact, and celebrate visual storytelling. The festival celebrates Corona’s centennial, highlighting South Africa’s coastlines, including Kraalbaai, Boulders Beach, Nature’s Valley, and Camps Bay.

“Each year, the Corona Sunsets Festival invites us to pause, feel, and reconnect. For this very special edition…thrilled to bring to Johannesburg a festival that reflects the dynamic creative spirit of the city,” says Melanie Nicholson.

The SABC has been also been announced as the official broadcaster of the Corona Sunsets Festival. The festival will be broadcast live from 20:00–22:00 pm on SABC 1.
