What time does the action get underway?

The eagerly anticipated clash between the Buccaneers and Masandawana will kick off at 19:30.

This midweek top-of-the-table encounter will have the eyes of the PSL firmly fixed on the action, as it could go a long way toward determining the winner of the 2025/26 season.

Currently, Orlando Pirates sit at the top of the latest Betway Premiership standings.

The Bucs hold a six point lead with 38 points from 16 matches played to date.

Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns are second on 32 points from 15 matches, meaning Masandawana have a game in hand over their opponents.

Second half of the season

A win for Orlando Pirates would see them open up a nine-point lead at the summit as the league enters its second half of the season.

Conversely, a victory for Mamelodi Sundowns would see them close the gap to just three points, giving them the opportunity to draw level with Orlando Pirates should they win their game in hand.

There is quite literally everything to play for under the lights at the FNB Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The eyes of the PSL will undoubtedly be glued to this enticing potential league decider.

Meanwhile, fans of fourth-placed Kaizer Chiefs will also be keeping a close eye on their two biggest rivals in what is shaping up to be one of the most tightly contested Betway Premiership seasons in recent memory.
