Orlando Pirates are building a formidable squad for the 2025/26 campaign.

The Buccaneers have already won the first trophy on offer in the form of the MTN8.

After saying goodbye to Jose Riveiro at the end of last season, Abdeslam Ouaddou took over the reigns at the club.

As part of their new chapter under Ouaddou, the club have welcomed a number of new signings. And now, the latest first-team addition has been revealed.

Orlando Pirates welcome talented winger to first-team

Talented 22-year-old winger Neo Mokoena has been promoted to the first-team at Orlando Pirates.

Mokoena has been a steady performer for the Orlando Pirates reserve team in the DDC.

He comes as a useful weapon Abdeslam Ouaddou can use to inject some energy into his side’s attack.

15 new faces at the Buccaneers

Mokoena joins a long-list of new first team players at Orlando Pirates FC.

In attack, the club have also welcomed Kamogelo Sebelebele, Oswin Appollis, Yanela Mbuthuma, Kabelo Kgositsile and Tshepang Moremi.

In the middle of the park, Sihle Nduli, Sinoxolo Kwayiba, Masindi Nemtajela, Sipho Mbule and Abdoulaye Mariko and his namesake as well have all joined the club.

New Orlando Pirates players holding the fort in defence are Nkosikhona Ndaba, Tshepho Mashiloane and Lebone Seema, as per Transfermarkt.

Can Pirates win the league title?

After bagging his first trophy at the club, do you think there’s more to come? Can Abdeslam Ouaddou dethrone Mamelodi Sundowns and make Orlando Pirates league champions?
