Leonid Radvinsky dies at age 43

Leonid Radvinsky, the billionaire behind OnlyFans, has died at the age of 43 following a prolonged battle with cancer.

The news was confirmed on Monday through a statement released by the company, marking the end of an era for the platform that saw massive global growth under his leadership.

“We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Leo Radvinsky. Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. His family have requested privacy at this difficult time,” a spokesperson said.

Radvinsky, a Ukrainian-American businessman, took control of the platform in 2018 when he acquired Fenix International Limited.

At the time, the site had only been around for two years, having been founded by Guy Stokely and Tim Stokely.

Under his ownership, OnlyFans transformed into a dominant force in the subscription content space, particularly during the COVID-19 lockdown period when creators and audiences increasingly turned to digital platforms.

The company’s rapid rise translated into enormous financial success, with Radvinsky reportedly receiving hundreds of millions of dollars in dividends, including a record $701 million payout in 2025.

Beyond OnlyFans, he also founded a venture capital firm in 2009 focused on backing technology companies, further cementing his footprint in the digital economy.
