Mamelodi Sundowns have announced that head coach Rulani Mokwena has signed a four-year new deal at Chloorkop.
Mokwena, 36, has been the sole head coach since a technical team reshuffle in October 2022 and has secured the club’s sixth successive DStv Premiership title in his first campaign.
He is still unbeaten in the DStv Premiership, winning 14 of his 20 games in charge, while drawing the six others – with most of them coming after Masandawana secured the title in record-breaking fishing with seven games to spare.
Mokwena continuously expressed his intention to continue at Chloorkop, despite setbacks in the Nedbank Cup and CAF Champions League.
