Al Ahli Saudi FC have signed former Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino on a free transfer.
Firmino, 31, joined the Saudi Arabian giants on a three-year deal and becomes the club’s second high-profile signing after former Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
The Brazil striker had said good bye to Liverpool after spending eight years with the club, during which he made 362 appearances, scoring 111 goals and setting up a further 79.
Firmino won seven trophies with Liverpool, including the UEFA Champions League. He had joined the Reds from TSG Hoffenheim in 2015 and will now continue his career in Saudi Arabia as one of the high-profile arrivals.
