Promise Mkhuma has joined AmaTuks on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns, the club confirmed on Friday.

Mkhuma, 23, joined Sundowns’ senior team in January 2020 and he made his debut in August that year after an impressive season in the Multichoice Diski Challenge, which is now known as DStv Diski Challenge.

He went on to win three league titles with Masandawana and a Nedbank Cup trophy and made 23 appearances for Masandawana overall.

However, with the immense quality among the current crop of players at Chloorkop, it has become difficult for him to make it through, and he was on loan at Motsepe Foundation Championship side All Stars from January.

‘Promo’ as he is affectionally known returned from his loan after making 12 appearances and scoring twice.

Mkhuma was linked with a move to DStv Premiership newbies Cape Town Spurs but now completed a move to AmaTuks in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, the second division in the Premier Soccer League.

Tuks also confirmed the arrival of winger Matome Rangata, who was promoted from the club’s SAB League team.
