Former TS Galaxy striker Djakaridja Junior Traorè has been unveiled as the latest signing at Turkish Superliga side Istanbulspor.

The 25-year-old spent one season in the DStv Premiership after his arrival from Czech Republic outfit SK Rakovnik, scoring seven goals in 18 games in the 2022/23 season.

It attracted widespread interest in his services and Galaxy have now cashed in on his services and replaced him with Thamsanqa Gabuza and Abdel Latif Bamba.

With the sales of Bathusi Aubaas, Given Msimango, Melusi Buthelezi, Tshegofatso Nyama, Aphelelo Teto and Traore, head coach Sead Ramovic is embarking on a rebuilding project this season.

But they have started the new campaign unbeaten with a win over Cape Town Spurs and a draw against Chippa, and have yet to concede a goal.
