Mammila administrator took first charge of Chippa in September after the departure of Daine Klate, following a 1-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns.
He then led the club to four wins on the bounce, the first time this has happened in Chippa history in the PSL. But results went south for him afterwards and he was let go by the club in February, when Kurt Lentjies took over.
Mammila won only five of 15 league matches overall, one in the second half of the season, with Chippa dropping close to the relegation zone.
Impressively, Swallows was the only club to have won the last four games of the season and finished on four points.
As Swallows beat Marumo Gallants 2-0 on the final day of the season, the Limpopo club finished bottom of the table and consequently got relegated to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
On the other hand, Chippa drew 0-0 with Golden Arrows, which saved their DStv Premiership status, finishing 14th on the DStv Premiership table.
