Official: Chiefs Unveil New Striker

Kaizer Chiefs have unveiled new striker Christian Saile Basomboli and revealed that he will wear the No. 21 shirt at the club.

The Amakhosi had announced Basomboli’s signing from Nchanga Rangers last week but he also stated he could only join the club this week.

On Wednesday, he signed his three-and-half deal with the Glamour Boys and was unveiled by head coach Arthur Zwane, Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr and Head of youth and technical development, Moelfi Ntseki.

He impressed the Chiefs technical team on trial during the 2022 FIFA World Cup break, as previously reported by iDiski Times, and Zwane has since revealed he hopes the striker can have an immediate impact.

Saile arrived in Zambia in 2021 and played with Nchanga Rangers in the National Division One, where he was the top goal scorer with 19 goals and helped promote Rangers.

This campaign he continued with his rich vein of form, which earned him his move to South Africa.
