Official: Chiefs Reveal Prices For Tickets As Fans Return

Kaizer Chiefs have finally confirmed the prices for tickets to attend the club’s home games at the FNB Stadium.
Rumours have been circulating since last week about a price increase and Amakhosi, together with Stadium Management South Africa confirmed on Monday that tickets will go for sale for R70.
“We would like to stress that government regulations necessitated additional operational requirements and manpower even at those prices, we are destined to run the event at a sizeable loss,” said SMSA CEO Bruce Grobbelaar
“However, we are happy to work with the home Club to ensure a safe and secure event compliant with legislation and government regulations.”
Saturday’s game against SuperSport United will be Chiefs first game with fans allowed in the stands, with Marketing and Commercial Manager Jessica Motaung calling upon the club’s faithful to return.
“We are looking forward to the reunion with the Amakhosi faithful. As we said previously, the empty silence in the stands around the country was a new and unpleasant experience for Chiefs because we are used to having our vociferous and loving supporters behind the team at all times,” she said.
“We know that the Gold & Black army will make it known that fans are back in the stadium from this Saturday and we are looking forward to a great vibe in the stands.
“We look forward to 16 April and believe our players will be buoyed by this return of the ‘12th player’,”
Those attending the matches are urged to make sure they carry all the documents required for entry to watch the match, namely, a valid match ticket, ID or licence card, plus proof of vaccination certificate or card or negative Covid-19 test not older than 72 hours (3 days).
Chiefs who currently sit in third place, four points behind second-placed Royal AM will open the gates from 16:30 on Saturday, 16 April, with the game kicking off at 19:30.
