Kaizer Chiefs have announced the departure Samir Nurkovic in the latest step of their squad revamp.
The Glamour Boys, who confirmed the arrivals of Zitha Kwinika and Ashley Du Preez earlier in the week, now confirmed several departures from Naturena.
New head coach Arthur Zwane had stated during his unveiling press conference last week Thursday that the technical team would sit and discuss the club’s transfer strategy for the new season.
On Wednesday, Amakhosi then confirmed that Nurkovic’s expiring deal will not be extended.
“Kaizer Chiefs will not extend Samir Nurković’s contract when it expires on 30 June 2022, ending a three-year relationship,” Chiefs said in a statement.
“The popular Serbian forward began his Chiefs career like a house on fire, scoring 14 goals in his maiden season. We wish Kokota all the best.
