Ntokozo Mbambo and husband mark 18 years in marriage

South African gospel star Ntokozo Mbambo and husband Nqubeko Mbatha are celebrating 18 years of marriage.

Ntokozo took to social media to share beautiful photos of herself and her husband while reflecting on how their love story began more than two decades ago.

According to the award-winning singer, she first met Nqubeko in 2001 when she was just 15 years old, unaware that he would eventually become her life partner.

“In 2001, a 15-year-old girl took a picture with a boy not knowing that he would change her life forever,” she wrote.

The gospel star went on to describe her husband as God’s perfect plan for her life, expressing gratitude for the love, patience and support he has shown her throughout the years.

“She didn’t know he would marry her 7 years later. She didn’t know he would be the father of her children. She didn’t know he would make her dreams come true.”

Ntokozo also praised him for being gentle with her heart and bringing joy into her life, saying their love story still feels like it is only beginning despite nearly two decades of marriage.

“18 years of marriage later, it feels like our love story has just begun. We practically grew up together & I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

She ended the touching tribute by thanking God for sustaining their union and wished her “husband of my youth” a happy anniversary.

Nqubeko also penned a sweet message to his wife, celebrating their journey together and reaffirming his love for her.

“This walk feels sweeter and sweeter with each step we take together. I love you forever baby ❤️ Happy 18th Anniversary.”

Fans and fellow celebrities flooded the couple’s comment sections with congratulatory messages.
