South African actress and musician Thembi Seete is currently soaking up the sun in the breathtaking island nation of Mauritius, nestled in the heart of the Indian Ocean.

Sharing a glimpse into her tropical escape, Seete posted a series of stunning images, captioned: “Chasing summer, sunsets, and soaking up the beauty of the Indian Ocean.”

Her feed radiated tranquillity, luxury, and joy, prompting fellow actress Buhle Samuels to comment: “A perfect getaway for a perfect human.”

The tropical retreat comes just months after Seete celebrated her 48th birthday.

Marking the occasion earlier this year, the beloved entertainer took a moment to thank fans for their outpouring of love and well wishes.

“I hope you’re all doing well and having an amazing day,” she wrote. “I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the beautiful birthday messages and wishes. I appreciate the love and encouragement you always share.”

Seete also used the moment to reflect on her journey and the blessings in her life.

“As I celebrate another year of life, I also want to thank God for His unwavering love, care, and protection. I’m grateful for the gift of health, life, and all the blessings He sends my way.”

Looking ahead, she expressed her hopes for the year to come.

“My prayer for the coming year is for love, health, joy, and most importantly, peace. Thank you all again for being part of my journey.”
