Former Ajax Cape Town and Orlando Pirates winger Riyaad Norodien has surfaced in Rwanda, where he is turning out for Kiyovu Sport.
Last year, Norodien surprised many when the former Ajax Cape Town, Orlando Pirates and Cape Town City winger signed for Motema Pembe in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
But after a few months, the 27-year-old returned to South Africa, though was unable to find a suitable local club despite being linked to a number of teams.
However, Norodien’s DRC experience did not deter him, and he has now signed for the ambitious Rwandan club Kiyovu Sport, who have set a target to qualify for CAF intercontinental football at the end of this season.
Norodien is one of a number of foreign signings for Kiyovu, who are currently second in the Rwandan League, have made this season.
