Nomzamo Mbatha bags lead role on Shaka Ilembe

Nomzamo Mbatha has been announced as the executive producer of the series titled, Shaka Ilembe; she will also be acting by portraying Queen Nandi, the mother of Shaka kaSenzangakhona, also known as Shaka Zulu, the founder of the Zulu Kingdom from 1816 to 1828.

Taking to social media, the actress who is honoured to play the aforementioned role confirmed the news by revealing that production has started and the series will be out in 2023. The filming is underway in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal
