Nomsa Buthelezi shares daughter’s matric dance experience

TV personality Nomsa Buthelezi-Shezi is beaming with pride after her daughter’s successful matric dance night.

She took to her Instagram page to share snaps and video clips summarising Lindi’s dreamy night. The Gomora Diva shared her daughter’s entrance to the venue, walked by award-winning actor Warren Masemola on the red carpet.

The MD, as millennials call it, is a celebration where learners bid farewell to their high school journey. It is a chance for them to dress to the nines, celebrate and be carefree. Lindi was dressed by Lebohang M Mzobe in a stunning boob-tubed dress.

The former Lockdown actress shared that she did not go to her own matric dance because she could not afford it. This pushed her to work hard, so that her daughter can go to hers.

“I still say thank you to all the people that give me employment izandla zidluli khanda (I am grateful). Thank you Warren Masemola for walking her on the red Carpet, he was multitasking that day. I love you my dawg,” she penned.

Instagram users weighed in:

One user said: “Oh mama, you did that for her. She looked so gorgeous.”

Another one said: “There’s no love like a mother’s love.”

While another one said: “Well done mommy.”
