South African TikTok users recently found themselves highly amused after a funny clip was shared on the platform this week. The video shows a Lamborghini driving along a busy street with an eye-catching and thought-provoking customised number plate. The number plate read “no degre” — obviously a misspelling of the word degree.
While many laughed at the fact that a lack of education may have caused the misspelling, others wondered how someone without a degree could be driving such an expensive sports car.

While many believed that the misspelling of the word degree was an intentional mistake to prove a point that the driver really is uneducated, others pondered on how the driver became successful without the aforementioned degree.
A lot of them slammed the idea that one needs connections to succeed in this country.
Take a look at some of their comments:
@blessMAH commented:
“You don’t need a degree in SA. All you need is connections, trust me.”
@moeketsi mabeya said:
“Don’t be fooled, chances are his/her kids are going to good schools and they are told every day to get a degree but ke sizo thini.”
While @Immortal_stie said:
“The sad part is even if you can get five degrees, you still can’t afford a Lambo.”
