Nicki vs Cardi beef hits new low

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B/ Picture: X

While the Madlanga Commission hit an unexpected break due to General Khumalo falling ill, the recently refuelled Cardi B vs. Nicki Minaj feud continues to escalate and has taken over the internet. Both stans have their gloves on and are ready to go to war for their fav, but who will emerge victorious?

When it comes to internet battles, very few fan bases come close to the Barbz of Nicki Minaj, who have garnered a reputation for blindly following their favourite MC, although Beyoncé’s Beyhive has made a strong case for the throne, as they, too, have also gone to great lengths to defend their queen. However, Cardi B’s Bardi gang has also emerged as a notable fanbase amid the renewed beef with Nicki, as they have gone toe-to-toe with Barbz, while the rappers throw blows at each other as well.

The almost decade-long rivalry has hit what appears to be a new low, with both rappers going after each other’s family and children. It appears matters have escalated past social media, with Cardi B taking to her X account to pull the “I’ll see you when I see you”card, essentially warning Nicki to sleep with one eye open going forward, as things will get ugly the next time these two bump into each other.

Dear Onika Tanya Maraj,

This my last time responding to you because this past Twitter now.. I gotta see you… but first ima tell you truth.. You said out your own mouth that the lil girl in you haven’t forgave your mother yet and that’s because your mom used to stay silent when…

With tensions escalating to this level, some users have expressed deep concern not only over both artists but for the fans as well, as they appear to be just as heavily invested in this feud. To make matters worse, some have resorted to hurling threats at the opposing side, further fueling the concern expressed.

Nicki and Cardi was entertaining at first but now it’s gone too far and it’s not fun, just draining. There should be no taking sides cause both of them have taken it extremely too far

Kinda hard to side with Nicki or Cardi because both of those ladies have a very unhealthy relationship with social media and Stan culture. Two sides of the same coin in a lot of ways. At some point they gotta put the phones down and let their music speak for itself.

Man.. some of the stuff Cardi & Nicki said to each other last night is disguising on both sides. Just pathetic.
