DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Locations: Gauteng & National
Duration: 12 months

The NHBRC invites unemployed graduates who are interested in gaining experience within the field. Interns will receive a monthly stipend. The National Home Builders Registration Council is committed to providing equal employment opportunities for persons with disabilities and those individuals from the historically disadvantaged groups.

The following internship programmes are available with the NHBRC:

  • Human Capital (Location: Sunninghill, Johannesburg, Gauteng)
  • Legal & Compliance Services (Location: Sunninghill, Johannesburg, Gauteng)
  • Education, Training & Development (Location: National / Eric Molobi)
  • Geographic Information System (Location: Sunninghill, Johannesburg, Gauteng, Eric Molobi)
  • Marketing, Communication & Stakeholder Management (Location: National)
  • Internal Audit (Location: Sunninghill, Johannesburg, Gauteng)
  • Risk Management (Location: Sunninghill, Johannesburg, Gauteng)
  • Information Technology (Location: Sunninghill, Johannesburg, Gauteng)
  • Finance & Supply Chain Management (Location: Sunninghill, Johannesburg, Gauteng)
  • Engineering & Inspection Services (Location: National)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be unemployed
  • Must be between 18 and 35 years of age
  • Must have completed one of these qualifications:
    • Human Capital Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources / Psychology / Industrial Psychology / Organisational Development
    • Legal & Compliance Services Internship: must have completed an LLB Degree
    • Education, Training & Development Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources; Training & Development / Industrial Psychology / Organisational Development
    • Geographic Information System Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Information System / Geographic Information System / Computer Systems
    • Marketing, Communication & Stakeholder Management Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Marketing; Communications / Journalism / Cert. Graphic Design
    • Internal Audit Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Auditing / Finance / Business Admin
    • Risk Management Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Health and Safety / Risk Management
    • Information Technology Internship: must have completed a Diploma, Degree or Cert. MCSE / Networking / A+
    • Finance & Supply Chain Management Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management Accounting / Finance
    • Engineering & Inspection Services Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • Must have NOT previously participated in any Public Service internship programme in any government department

  • Comprehensive Curriculum Vitae
  • Certified copy of your relevant qualification
  • Certified copy of your Identity Document

ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

The National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC) is a regulatory body of the home building industry. It was established in 1998 in accordance with the provisions of the Housing Consumers Protection Measures Act, 1998 (Act No. 95 of 1998).

The NHBRC’s mandate is to protect the interests of housing consumers and to ensure that builders comply with the prescribed building industry standards as contained in the Home Building Manual.
