John is haunted by the shadow of his wife

John and Kwaito fear they might live their nightmare sooner than they think if what Mr Bopape says about Meikie’s appeal is true. Meikie coming back would mean big changes are about to take place. Kwaito won’t be able to just walk in and out of the Maputla house. John would have to stop seeing Melita, which he should. The whole Seakamela family would have to walk in eggshells around Turfloop.

It gets ugly between Melita and John

Melita’s visit to the Maputla house turned out disastrous and it got worse later at the Supermarket to the extent that John ended up almost getting physical with her. Melita wants John to partner up with her to stop the appeal.
Rakgadi Joyce has also taken a dislike to Melita and wants her to replace Meikie.

Koloi is the romantic

Koloi is unstoppable, he wants Eunice and he is not stopping at anything to get her. He bought her breakfast and took it to her at work

Lehasa is the beast he thinks he is

Lehasa keeps pressing Khwezi to introduce him to her family. Lehasa hired a PI to find her uncle’s new numbers and revealed that he has bought tickets to go meet the family

Pretty tries to knock some sense into Eunice, when she comes up with a plan to test Mkays intentions about her using Koloi.

Meikie’s possible return from Prison becomes the talk of the town and people are quaking in their boots. Especially Melita and the Seakamela family.
Melita is in the process of going to meet Meikie in prison.

Khwezi finds Kgosi

Khwezi has found out where Kgosi has been hiding, this whole she is dealing with the strange lobola situation. Khwezi would rather Lehasa marry her without going through the Lobola negotiation process. This proves more than anything that she is up to no good, her priorities are upside down.

Eunice keeps sinking deep into financial troubles

Eunice’s finances continue to be burdened and show no signs of improving. Eunice is like a woman with many children and a husband and they all depend on her. What exactly does she need so much money for?
