James and Imani’s marriage takes a serious tumble and spirals out of control

Let’s get through the previous episode

The rescue mission at the asylum has yielded results for Susan, Vhutshilo and Kgosi. Gugu has been detained for more than a month and drugged heavily.

Rescuing her from the asylum means she will not receive the usual dosage of drugs she has been made to take, and that causes her to suffer severe withdrawal symptoms. Nomasonto also realises that their days are numbered.

Susan managed to get herself employed as a nurse at Ikhaya Lethemba wellness centre.
She has worked her way closer to Gugu as a nurse.
Rosemary raised a red flag to Sibiya.

Spy Cam

James installed spy cameras in his house to monitor how Imani was treating his son Lesedi. James’s relationship with Imani has been on a downward spiral ever since he witnessed Imani losing her temper with Lesedi, and Lesedi hurting himself didn’t help matters.

Imani wants her child Lethu to come and live with them, and James is against it. Imani throws a massive tantrum when she discovers the cameras, and all hell breaks loose.

Imani is also questioning James’s Will; she feels that Letho is being mistreated because he is not included in the inheritance. James calls her unfair and tells her she is selfish because she only cares about only her child because she expects Letho to receive an inheritance from James and Ranthumeng.

Ndiwavho demands emancipation. Imani discovers the spy cameras James installed.

Ndiwavho disappeared from her home after Tenda and Mpho made a video and asked other students to stop bullying her on the internet, and she chose to go straight into the Motsamai household.

James doesn’t support this, and he wants Ndiwavho out; he has had it with Tenda’s family. Itseng tells James that Ndiwavho wants to be emancipated legally from her parents.

Azwindini is still stark between a rock and a hard place. On the one hand, he has to marry Nomasonto to protect Gugu, and on the other hand, he has to lie to his family, and it causes them to question his decisions as to the King.

James and Imani’s marriage spirals out of control, and they don’t agree on anything. It looks like they have reached the end.
