New-look Kaizer Chiefs: All 18 confirmed deals

Kaizer Chiefs have been as busy with squad cuts as they are with player recruitments.

Kaizer Chiefs have released EIGHT players.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi have been spotted with 10 new players in their squad. Therefore, these 18 men will usher in the new era of football at Chiefs with a new captain set to lead them.

Chiefs have signed Nkanyiso Shinga, Flavio Silva, Ethan Chislett, Paseko Mako, Thabiso Monyane and Siphesihle Ndlovu. Furthermore, Thulani Mabaso, Naledi Hlongwane, Kabelo Nkgwesa and Manqoba Ozoemena have all been promoted.

“Also coming in has been Siphesihle Ndlovu, Ethan Chislett, Nkanyiso Shinga, Thabiso Monyane, and Paseka Mako while Thulani Mabaso, Naledi Hlongwane, Kabelo Nkgwesa, and Manqoba Ozoemena are some of those promoted,” the insider stated on KickOff.

Thus, bringing the total of new faces at Chiefs to 10 – that’s almost a whole new starting XI worth of players. Interestingly, Chiefs are far from done with their transfer business.

There are more players on Amakhosi and Nasreddine Nabi’s radar. Currently, Chiefs are closing in on Asenali Velebayi and Luke Baartmen from Cape Town Spurs.

Meanwhile, they are still in the market for another striker and goalkeeper.

CHIEFS RELEASE EIGHT PLAYERS, MORE DEPARTURES LIKELY

Chiefs have released Ranga Chivaviro, Sabelo Radebe, Njabulo Blom, Edmilson Dove, Mduduzi Mdantsane, Yusuf Maart, Tebogo Potsane and Bongani Sam so far.

However, as mentioned, they are not done with squad changes yet.

Fiacre Ntwari and Edson Castillo are both facing likely exits out of Naturena. Ntwari was dropped by Nasreddine Nabi halfway through the 2024/25 PSL season. Bruce Bvuma and Brendan Peterson were rotated throughout the second half of the season. Finally, Castillo has reportedly already left Chiefs.
