Netball World Cup result: Proteas beat Tonga

The South African Proteas side beat Tonga in their 5th-8th-place semi-final at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) on Friday.

The Proteas won 72-46.

The Proteas will now take on Uganda in the battle for fifth and sixth place.

That match will take place on Sunday, 6 August at 11:00.

Uganda beat Malawi 57-46 in their semi-final.

Meanwhile, in the tournament’s semi-finals, England play New Zealand, while Jamaica will battle Australia.
