South Africans felt Black Coffee‘s speech was not the best as he sounded nervous. His fans believe he could have prepared better:

He and his son pulled through.

Black Coffee attended the Grammy with his eldest son Esona. Both gentlemen were dressed in custom made all-white suits. Having his son attend the ceremony with him was a great thing as Esona is also an upcoming DJ. Both men always dress for the tea, and they did not disappoint once more. Their drip is always on point.

As we know, Black Coffee wears pieces of clothing that have the highest prices at times. When he realized people Google the clothing prices, he said, “Imagine dating a man who searches for the prices of other men’s clothes.”

Black Coffee’s musical success

Black Coffee started his musical career in Mzansi as a house DJ. He produced numerous fire hits, and he was a success. After years of making music, he revealed that one of his hands doesn’t work. He hosted an event where he played sets for days with one hand, and he was featured in the Guinness Book of World Records. He focused more on playing abroad until he became a resident DJ at an international club.

He’s a global name now.

His journey is one for the books. He started hanging out with people like Drake and Swiss Beatz and developed friendships. He even remixed a song by Alicia Keys called In Common. A few days before his Grammy win, he chilled with Diddy at one of Diddy’s homes. He is now a global name.

People who wished him well

The DJ got well wishes from people like the rapper Busta Rhymes before the Grammys. People like the local icon Dj Oskido. People like his friend and associate Dj Euphonik.

Black Coffee’s son Esona whom Mzansi has nicknamed Rooibos, has some big shoes to fill. He was blessed with a great mentor, though.
