Ndlovu, Mofokeng, Dlamini and Shandu

The rumour mill is in overdrive at Mayfair as Orlando Pirates continue to be linked with big moves both in and out of the club.

The latest transfer news sees two Bucs stars linked with likely departures from the club.

Meanwhile, fan favourite Relebohile Mofokeng remains the talk of the town, while Orlando Pirates reportedly have a new transfer target – the same target as rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.

ORLANDO PIRATES PAIR POISED TO LEAVE MAYFAIR?

Orlando Pirates defender Bandile Shandu and striker Kabelo Dlamini are both linked with possible exits.

“With the new players coming in, the competition has become stiffer. They have not played much halfway through the season, and I think that’s an indication the club might be reaching a point where they have to release them and give them an opportunity elsewhere,” former Orlando Pirates winger Lebogang Mokeona stated on SoccerBeat.

The former Bucs winger has suggested that both men are on their way out of Mayfair.

They have both struggled for game time and have fallen down the pecking order at the club.

Dlamini sits behind the likes of Yanela Mbuthuma, Evidence Makgopa and Tshegofatso Mabasa.

Meanwhile, as reported on The South African, Shandu is likely to be packing his bags soon as Nkosinathi Sibisi and Tapelo Xoki are ahead of him at the heart of the Bucs defence.

MOFOKENG’S MOVEMENTS MONITORED

Mofokeng’s movements are being monitored closely by PSL fans whether they support Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns or Orlando Pirates.

In fact, Mofokeng is the talk of the town not just in the PSL, but around the world, with interest from clubs across multiple continents for the Bucs megastar.

Ultimately, following Mofokeng’s public statement that he is open to playing for another club, a move out of Mayfair appears increasingly likely.

He already had a plethora of teams interested before making that announcement. Those clubs are now fully aware of his willingness to spread his wings.

Furthermore, if Mofokeng makes it into Hugo Broos’ final Bafana Bafana FIFA World Cup 2026 squad, he will gain global exposure.

Both of these outcomes are highly likely.

On current form, Mofokeng should feature in Broos’ squad and global exposure will be inevitable on football’s biggest stage.

PIRATES CIRCLE WITH SUNDOWNS AROUND ARROWS TARGET

According to Goal, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns are monitoring Golden Arrows star Siyanda Ndlovu.

Reports claim that Masandawana have made a “substantial offer” for the Golden Arrows forward.

However, Orlando Pirates are also considering making a move for the talented Newcastle-born attacker.
