Natasha Joubert announces pregnancy

Former Miss South Africa Natasha Joubert and her husband, Enrico Vermaak, are preparing to welcome a new addition to their family.

The couple, who tied the knot in March this year, shared their heartwarming news in a joint Instagram post on Monday, revealing Natasha’s growing baby bump.

“The last five months we’ve been keeping the sweetest secret,” the caption read, as the pair finally let their followers in on their beautiful journey.

Natasha also took a moment to express her appreciation for those who respected her privacy during the early months of her pregnancy.

“One thing I have learnt is how sacred pregnancy is. To my people who have known and kept a secret with me, bless you and thank you for respecting Enrico and I,” she wrote.

The beauty queen explained that she wanted to wait until everything was confirmed and healthy before going public, saying they’d completed their anatomy scan and felt ready to share the joy.

Opening up about her emotional experience, Natasha admitted the journey hasn’t been without its challenges.

“There is a lot that comes with being pregnant and I have been challenged mentally, physically and psychologically throughout. I have had so many turbulences with friendships and work and felt guilty for not feeling joyous. I wanted to ensure I work through a lot to fully embrace and feel all the amazing emotions.”

Despite the ups and downs, Natasha’s message radiated excitement and love for the new chapter ahead.

“Enrico and I are on cloud 100,000,000. We love this little one so much,” she added, closing her heartfelt post with pure joy.

Fans and friends have since flooded the couple’s comments with messages of love and congratulations as they step into this exciting new phase of their lives.
