Nandipha Magudumana and Thabo Bester turn heads in matching colours at court

Dr Nandipha Magudumana and Thabo Bester returned to the Free State High Court on Friday, 19 September 2025, alongside their co-accused for the final pretrial hearing in the prison escape case.

While all eyes were on proceedings, it was the couple’s coordinated outfits that sparked the biggest reaction online.

Newzroom Afrika journalist Linda Mnisi shared a clip of Magudumana walking into court in a polished black suit paired with a light-blue collared shirt and accessorised with a striking golden-yellow scarf.

She completed the look with neatly braided hair, bold red nails, and a Louis Vuitton mini bag in hand.

Bester also opted for a classic black-and-white ensemble, and with Magudumana’s splash of yellow, the pair appeared in subtle coordination.

Comments quickly poured in as many remarked on how their colour choices mirrored one another.

Some admired Magudumana’s elegance, while others speculated about the message behind their sharp court looks.

One user quipped, “That Netflix money clocked in,” while another asked, “Where and how does she get her hair done in jail?”
