Naledi Aphiwe

Naledi Aphiwe has revealed that she will not be attending the Metro FM Music Awards 2026 after missing her flight to Durban.

The singer took to social media to share her frustration, explaining that travel setbacks derailed her plans to be part of the prestigious event, where she had been nominated multiple times.

“Missed my flight and this is the last flight ephumayo eya eDurban angisayanga Kanjalo ke kuma Metro,” she wrote.

Her absence comes as a disappointment to fans, especially as Naledi had secured four nominations at this year’s awards, marking a major milestone in her fast-rising career.

While she may have missed the ceremony, Naledi’s multiple nominations highlight her growing influence in the industry, proving that this moment is only a stepping stone in what promises to be a bright future.
