Naledi Aphiwe calls out Lamiez Holworthy’s lookalike for “copying”

Naledi Aphiwe has weighed in on the ongoing social media chatter surrounding a woman accused of imitating Lamiez Holworthy.

The 19-year-old singer took to social media to address the situation after the lookalike pushed back against claims that she resembles the Metro FM DJ.

Instead of siding with her, Naledi criticised the woman’s actions, suggesting that the issue wasn’t bullying but rather deliberate imitation.

“No one is bullying you; you’re the one bullying her. Lento oyenzayo is so annoying. Grow into your own person,” she wrote.

Naledi went further, directly tagging the woman and urging her to embrace her own identity instead of trying to mirror someone else’s lifestyle and persona.

“You don’t need to move like her, talk like her, or live like her to be noticed. There’s only one you, and that’s your power,” she added.

Her comments quickly gained traction online, sparking debate among social media users.

While some supported her stance, others dissected the situation, with one user writing, “No, but Sisi really hates herself shame because what do you mean she’s made being Lamiez her whole personality, but now has the nerve to say she’s being bullied?”
