Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has sent a clear message of appreciation to the club’s hierarchy after their big moves in the transfer market.

While expressing gratitude, the Tunisian also reminded fans and management that patience will be key as the squad gels.

Speaking after Kaizer Chiefs’ strong start to the Betway Premiership campaign, Nabi said the board deserved credit for handing him quality signings.

“I think I have to say congratulations to the board. I think they did a very big job for us. It is very great that there are some players that have already started to play, and some of them will get a chance to play also,” Nabi said in French, as translated by his assistant Khalil Ben Youssef.

“Now, I think the performance of some players who played… gives us more solutions, but building a team is always tough.

“With the new players we need some time to build our team and to be better, but for now we have to say congratulations to the board for these players,” he added.
