Nabi out, Jose Riveiro to Naturena?

The Kaizer Chiefs hierarchy is split over Nasreddine Nabi’s future following his return to Naturena.

Nasreddine Nabi recently returned to Kaizer Chiefs after taking a short break to address personal matters pertaining to his wife.

So, now he is back at Naturena. However, he faces an uncertain future at Chiefs. Meanwhile, former Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro is a free man.

NABI FACES UNCERTAIN FUTURE, CHIEFS HIERARCHY UNHAPPY

Chiefs management is unhappy with Nabi’s attitude or pre-season results.

“To be honest with you, I don’t know what is going to happen with the coach, but what I can tell you is that management is not competently happy with how things are going. They are not happy with the coach’s attitude at times and were not convinced by the preseason preparations. They do want to address it,” the insider stated on SNL.

Therefore, Amakhosi management will be holding key talks over his future now that he is back at the club.

Remember, Chiefs undefeated start was without Nabi at the helm. As mentioned, the Tunisian coach returned home to care for and support his wife, who had been involved in an accident.

During his time away, Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze took charge of the Soweto giants. They coached Amakhosi to three wins and a draw against defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns.

Thus, securing 10 points from four matches en route to guiding them to second spot in the current BetWay Premiership standings.

RIVEIRO IS AVAILABLE FOLLOWING AL AHLY’S SACKING

Riveiro was sacked after just seven games in charge of Egyptian giants, Al Ahly.

Meaning, he is unattached (not linked to any club).

So, he is available to join any prospective clubs. Given his track record with the Pirates, his CV will stand out like a sore thumb. He led the Bucs to the CAF Champions League semi-finals, second spot in the Betway Premiership and five domestic titles – three MTN 8 trophies and 2 Nedbank Cups.

SHOULD CHIEFS SACK NABI? SHOULD AMAKHOSI CONSIDER SIGNING JOSE RIVEIRO IF THEY DO?
