Video and footage of young girls being exploited for sex have caused outrage on social media. A video of scantily dressed girls, believed to be between 13 and 16, has made many people angry. They appeared to be inside a house, reportedly in Parklands, Cape Town
Ina n audio clip on Twitter, a mother, and her friend are heard interrogating a young girl. The girl can be heard saying she and her friends were recruited t have tlof tlof with men for money. The men were said to host the girls from Thursdays to Sunday, where orgies, drugs, and alcohol were consumed and sold. The girl told her mother the men paid them up to R2 500 for unprotected tlof tlof. And, they were allegedly recruited by women.
In a voice note, she said a man named Latin slept with her and her friend, while one of them watched.
“The man said I must watch them as he was going to do to me what he was doing to my friend. When they were done, he went to the shower, then came back and slept with me wearing a c0nd_om,” she said.

The girl said after sleeping with the first man, she slept with another multiple times, without protection.
The South African National Civic Organisation’s Cape Town regional chairwoman Connie August said they were devastated.
“We consider this as statutory rape. We want these individuals to face the law. We appeal to the government to intervene,” she said.
Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi said cops were not aware of this.
