Christmas seemed to come early for rapper Shebeshxt and one of his young fans after videos of their gift exchange went viral on X.

The clips, shared by user @SkeemNoa, showed the Limpopo-born star receiving a Gucci baseball cap worth over R10,000.

In the video, Shebeshxt can be seen questioning whether the luxury hat was authentic, joking about the label and even quipping that it “smells like it was bought at my favourite market, Marabastad.”

Despite the light teasing, he happily thanked the fan and wore the designer cap with pride.

The moment didn’t end there.

The fan later posted another clip showing off a pair of Nike sneakers he got from Shebeshxt, writing: “Shebe gave me his two Nike shoes. Nice soul, that one ✊🏿.”

While the exchange seemed heartfelt, social media users had mixed reactions.

Many joked that Shebeshxt would probably “take back the gift after sunset,” poking fun at the rapper who recently revealed his bank balance online to prove he isn’t broke.
