Sifiso Myeni set to hold talks with newly promoted VTM Football Club over a new contract.
The former Orlando Pirates midfielder joined the Botswana side at the beginning of the season. When he joined the mandate was to help the side to gain promotion which they did.
The 34-year-old has been captaining the side throughout the season and has played a big role in the side gaining promotion.
VTM had to do it the hard way after finishing second in the first division, which meant they had to go via promotion playoffs – fortunately for him and his teammates, they succeeded via penalties after playing a draw in a two-leg tie.
Myeni’s current contract is set to expire at the end of June after signing a one-year deal with the side.
According to a close source, VTM will hold talks with the former Bidvest Wits captain as they aim to keep him ahead of 2023/24 season in the Botswana top-flight division.
