Muvhango’s cast and crew took over the streets of Thulamela in Limpopo with a buzzing meet and greet. Fans of the soapie were surprised to see their on-screen favourites on the roads. Being such a huge soapie celebrating 25 years of business, Muvhango had the streets in utter chaos. The cast and crew were in a travel vehicle greeting their fans in public.

Due to the magnitude of the show, fans went insane. Stampedes usually happen when fans see their favourite stars in person. To prevent casualties caused by overexcitement Muvhango’s cast and crew were escorted by the Limpopo Metro police.

Most of the time, the cast peeped outside the windows, and their fans waved at them. A lot of the fans were watching from the pavements. Some were from the shops in the area, and some were on the same streets.

As the cast was peeping through the windows, the other motorists were initially startled. Since there wasn’t an announcement, people just had no clue. After questioning why there is so much havoc, they eventually saw the cast. Some drove by and screamed in excitement to see their favourites.

Why Limpopo Province?

Many questions about why only celebrate in Limpopo Province when viewers are all across Mzansi. Muvhango is a soapie based on the TshiVenda language. TshiVenda people are primarily based in Limpopo Province. Either than that, cultural elements of the show regarding royalty and traditions are derived from Venda.

With most native speakers being in the province, it only made sense. Paying homage to the original owners of the culture was only appropriate. Despite the appropriation, the fans reciprocated with a lot of love. Honestly, you can tell the cast was overwhelmed.

Meet and greets

When the Muvhango travelling vehicle made a few stops, the fans flocked to take photos. Tebatso Mashishi, who plays the role of Kgosi, the son of KK Mulaudzi, was present. He took multiple pictures and videos with fans. Despite his most recent controversy with the law, he is still in the heart of his fans.

Model and Muvhango actress Azwimmbavhi Rambuda took multiple snaps with fans. She wore a comfortable white outfit that looked warm and cosy, perfect for the gloomy weather.
