Musa Khawula has laughed off a viral death hoax that he has been murdered in prison, which is circulating on social media.

The controversial celebrity blogger is currently in custody over several ongoing criminal cases, including charges of crimen injuria, hate speech, and violating the Cybercrimes Act.

He is also facing multiple overlapping charges of murder, attempted murder, and reckless driving.

MUSA KHAWULA LAUGHS OFF DEATH HOAX

On the X platform, an old video of vlogger Slik Talk claiming Musa Khawula was murdered whilst in police custody has resurfaced.

In it, the YouTuber claims the celebrity blogger was murdered during an altercation.

The clip quickly spread like wildfire, with the words “RIP Musa”.

However, Musa himself responded to the rumours, with a voice note, allegedly recorded in prison custody.

In the audio clip, posted on his X account, Musa Khawula laughed off the rumours.

“Why are you’ll killing me? This is not the first time this has happened.

“I just came to say, nope, I’m not dead. I am here, enjoying and having a good time, drinking cheap alcohol…phuza-faced.

He jokingly added, “Since I’m dead, give me a donation for the funeral”.

SHOTS FIRED AT CRITICS

Despite being in police custody, the X account belonging to Musa Khawula has been tweeting up a storm.

This includes shading high-profile figures he has previously accused of having underhanded dealings.

In a tweet this week, Musa fired shots at former Miss SA Tamaryn Green and her businessman husband, Ze Nxumalo, who has been mentioned in the Madlanga Commission.

Nxumalo is accused of putting pressure on top cops to have Musa arrested, after he opened a case of crimen injuria and contravention of the Cybercrimes Act.  Police have been criticised for sharing sensitive information with the public.

Musa tweeted: “Oh, hi Tamaryn Green baby and your husband Ze Nxumalo, look at the mess ya’ll done. Ya’ll know that you owe me right. And I’m coming to collect all my coint because b*tch better have my money”.

In another tweet, Musa Khawula also mocked ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula, businessman Vusi “Cat” Matlala and EFF leader Julius Malema.
