  • One of six suspects in the murder of Nigerian e-hailing driver Isaac Satlat plans to plead guilty.
  • The group faces charges including murder and robbery.
  • They remain in custody and will return to court on 3 June 2026.

One of the accused in the murder case of Nigerian e-hailing driver Isaac Satlat has indicated her intention to plead guilty to all charges against her.

The development was revealed by her attorney after all six suspects appeared in the Pretoria Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday morning.

Ofentse Senwamadi, along with Dikeledi Mphela, Goitsione Machidi, McClaren Mushwana, Tumishang Mabutla, and Thabang Mothwa, faces multiple charges including murder and robbery with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Attorney Mphahlele, who represents Senwamadi and Mabutla, told the court that there would be no need for Senwamadi to undergo trial as she plans to plead guilty.

The group was arrested last month after dashcam footage allegedly showed them attacking the driver.

Satlat’s body and his vehicle were later found in Atteridgeville, west of Pretoria.

The accused remain in custody and are expected to return to court on 3 June 2026.
