MTN8: Chiefs vs AmaZulu Line-Ups Confirmed

Kaizer Chiefs host AmaZulu in the first leg of their MTN8 semi-final clash at the FNB Stadium this afternoon, and the two teams have confirmed how they will line up this afternoon.

Yesterday’s other semi-final also played in Soweto, ended goalless between Orlando Pirates and defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns.

This will be the second meeting between the Amakhosi and Usuthu this season, after a goalless draw at the same venue last month in the DStv Premiership. In fact, the last three encounters have ended in draws, following two 1-1 draws last season.

Chiefs reached the semi-finals after a nail-biting penalty shootout win against Stellenbosch, with captain Itumeleng Khune the hero on the day. Meanwhile, AmaZulu booked their place after an extra-time victory against Cape Town City.

The game kicks off this afternoon at 15h30.
