Mr Jazziq

Amapiano star Mr JazziQ is back in the spotlight for reasons far from his music after a private photo of him lying in bed with an unidentified young woman surfaced online.

The image, shared by controversial social media commentator Chris Excel on 17 July 2025, immediately sent the DJ’s name to the top of trending lists.

Despite keeping his romantic life out of the public eye for years, the producer, real name Tumelo Manyoni, found himself exposed when the selfie-style screenshot began circulating. In the picture, the woman holds the phone while throwing a peace sign and sticking out her tongue, with JazziQ leaning in beside her.

Chris Excel fuelled the uproar by claiming, “Our Brother JazziQ following on Busta 929’s footsteps now 😭😭😭😭,” comparing him to another Amapiano figure previously embroiled in similar drama.

The leak triggered a wave of reactions online. Some social media users ridiculed the DJ, others made jokes, and a few wished gossip blogger Musa Khawula was still active to unpack the chaos.

One user asked, “Do you prefer he chows the single mothers you are always cooking?” while another lamented, “You hop on the gram, see a gem… only to find out she’s been passed around like ping pong two months ago by DJs and celebs…😌”
