Polokwane City remain top after the four Motsepe Foundation Championship matches that were played this weekend, while AmaTuks are no longer unbeaten after losing for the first time this season.
On Saturday AmaTuks lost 2-1 at home to Casric Stars, their first defeat in eleven games. Meanwhile, Platinum City Rovers beat Magesi 1-0.
On Sunday Hungry Lions joined Polokwane City on 22 points, after a 3-0 victory over Tshakhuma, but the Northern Cape team remain second on goal difference.
In the only other fixture, Black Leopards and JDR Stars played to a goalless draw.
On Tuesday, Venda Football Academy will host Pretoria Callies.
